A new year, a new consultancy (re)starter kit
In January 2026, Databoom is launching a starter kit for organisation’s who want to start, restart or continue their data, AI or Digitalisation journey, but don’t know where to start or that seem to get stuck somewhere down the road. One major element is to understand who your stakeholders are, for which you can freely use this classic stakeholder matrix template. 2024: A new book and a new exam
Also in 2025 there are many participants in my training courses who still use the ‘old’ book. Please be aware: at the beginning of 2024, DAMA has released a new book, the revised edition of DMBOK2. It’s perfectly cool, as DAMA has to keep up with the developments in the data world, in order to stay the world’s leading best practice in data management. However it also means a new exam as per October 2024. If you need any advice on what exactly has changed and what it means for your exam, we’re happy to help you. Just contact us.
